City's New Digs Almost Done

Novato's new City Hall is quickly taking shape and is scheduled to open November 12.

Onsite work, including landscaping and some exterior work, will continue through the end of the year depending on weather conditions, according to city spokeswoman Peggy Flynn.

A ribbon cutting will be scheduled in early 2014.

The new administrative offices will house about 60 city employees. There will also be an underground parking lot, accessible to residents nights and weekends.
