Sony unveils 15 new Analogue Cameras and ground-breaking Hybrid Video Security Cameras at IFSEC 2012

Professional Solutions exhibits a plethora of new products and solutions at IFSEC 2012, continuing its commitment to developing state-of-the-art HD video security solutions for a variety of applications and budgets. Sony will display these new developments at its stand.

Today, the Sony Hybrid camera surveillance video solutions, the industry?s first network cameras capable of simultaneously transmitting in both high-definition (HD) and analogue, over an existing single coaxial cable, was unveiled. In addition to its new Hybrid video cameras, Sony also launched two full HD security monitors, to provide customers with the finest Sony display technology to integrate with their existing security systems.

Sony?s range of Hybrid cameras are unique in offering IP/HD streaming over the existing analogue CCTV coaxial network at distances of up to 300m, creating a clear migration path for those looking to transition to HD.

Today, fifteen new analogue models, delivering improved colour reproduction and Infra-Red performance, allowing for optimal performance, regardless of lighting conditions, in both internal and external environments, were launched. Sony?s new cameras incorporate Adaptive IR Control that automatically adjusts the image to prevent over-exposure, while creating greater uniformity across the frame. The eight YM and YB Series IR dome and bullet cameras provide a variety of resolutions and fixed focal lengths suited to a range of applications. The seven CM and CB Series dome and bullet cameras add 3x vari-focal capabilities, delivering optimal fixed-angle viewing for indoor and outdoor use.
