Attracting the biggest names from all across the country today (October 16), the God's Love We Deliver 2013 Golden Heart Awards took place in New York City, featuring icons such as Karlie Kloss, Hilary Swank, Doutzen Kroes, and Olivia Munn
Fashion man Michael Kors was also on hand to give out one of the event’s featured awards, while hamming it up for photos with “American Idol’s” Jennifer Hudson and “ER” beauty Julianna Margulies.
The “God’s Love We Deliver” website defines the award, stating, “The Golden Heart Award serves as a model of how the strengths and resources of the private and public sectors combine to support God’s Love We Deliver in our critical work.”
This year’s honorees include Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton receiving the first-ever Michael Kors Award for Outstanding Community Service as well as Aerin Lauder, who received the Golden Heart Award for Lifetime Achievement. Finally Jeff Gates and Mike Moran, long-time volunteers and donors, were given the Golden Heart Award for Outstanding Volunteerism.
